A deposit is required . We operate our own tours, we do all the planning, we don't use ground handlers and tour operators, we do it all ourselves, offering you an opportunity to see Scotland...as you've never seen it before. We don't just visit all the main tourist sites and we don't stay in tourist class hotels. What we do is take you around Scotland as a part of our family..... We are there with you every step of the way, from picking you up at the airport or your hotel, until we drop you off at the end of your tour. Along with your tour director (see owner) and our coach driver, we use local friendly guides who know their areas well, not because they have learned about them in books but because they live there and know the area and its people. We use all privately or family owned small historical hotels, not large chains or tourist *first* class hotels, rated from 3 to 5 stars. We dine in our hotel restaurant or a local restaurant renowned for good Scottish cuisine and you will have the chance to meet local people at dinner and in the pubs in each town. You will experience surprise entertainment, historical castles, haunted ruins, the mystical Celtic music played on Highland Bagpipes and fiddles. You will see parts of Scotland most tourists don't see. Of course we also visit the woolen mills, whisky distilleries and visitor centers of some of the more important sites in history. You will learn the meaning of the Massacre of Glencoe, the Callanais Standing stones and Culloden Battlefield. On our tours you will have fun, learn about the country, meet interesting people and get to know the people of this beautiful, mystical country we call Scotland!
